The V80 Lite 5G is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300e, a 6-nanometer octa-core chipset clocked at up to 2.5GHz. It combines four Arm Cortex-A78 performance cores with four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.

The "e" designation indicates an efficiency-focused variant. Compared with the standard Dimensity 7300, which uses TSMC's 4nm process and a Mali-G615 GPU, the 7300e uses 6nm fabrication and a Mali-G610 GPU. The platform is a deliberate match for a phone whose main design objective is longer battery life. MediaTek says the chip offers up to 21 percent greater modem power efficiency and up to 4 percent greater application efficiency than equivalent previous-generation platforms.

The phone has a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2,800 × 1,260 pixels. Peak brightness is rated at 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode, which should help with outdoor viewing under Southeast Asia's strong sunlight.

Camera hardware consists of a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP auxiliary lens on the rear, along with a 32MP front-facing camera. Connectivity includes 5G, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi and USB-C. The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

Is Vivo a safe brand to buy?
